they made history when they were in their prime. If your picture is left out, please don't take it personal.
Bernard Hopkins: Anyone who's sat through all the Rocky films knows that age is just a number when it comes to boxing and Bernard Hopkins became the oldest champion of all, when he beat Tavoris Cloud to win the IBF light heavyweight championship of the world.

- Roger Milla: The Cameroonian forward holds two World Cup records - the oldest player to score in the competition and the best celebration. The former Monpellier man dazzled as a 38-year-old at Italia 90 and then did it all over again four years later in the United States. His goal against Russia in the '94 tournament broke the record he set four years earlier as oldest scorer and he carried on playing club football well into his 40s.
Roger Milla Martina Navratilova: Having won 18 Grand Slams and 167 WTA titles (and that's just in the singles) it's no surprise that Martina Navratilova played past the ripe old age of 50. The Czech-American left-hander won all there was to win in the game, including a record nine Wimbledon titles.Martina Navratilova
Stanley Matthews Stanley Matthews: Sir Stan was known as the 'Wizard of the Dribble' and not even father time could stop his magic on the wing. The former Stoke and Blackpool man rarely ate meat and never drank, which no doubt helped to keep himself in tip-top shape as he played top-flight football until he was 50.George Foreman George Foreman: Big George kept on punching until he was 48, turning pro in 1969 and then hanging up his gloves in 1997 to become a lean, mean, grilling machine tycoon.
Shout out to them.
