BABY RESCUED FROM BEING FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET AT OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, IBADAN.

It was melodrama when an attempt to flush a baby down the toilet was foiled at the Obafemi Awolowo University,Ibadan by a hostel cleaner.

Report has it that a 400 level female student in Moremi hostel gave birth to a baby and attempted to flush the baby down the drain ,but was intercepted by the cleaner who heard the cry of a baby in the toilet, on getting to the toilet, the cleaner saw pool of blood on the floor, a female student and the baby upside down in toilet sink.

If you recall I posted a similar story that occurred in China lately,where a mother flushed his baby down the toilet, but was  rescued by neighbours when they heard the baby crying. The rescue effort was achieved by cutting the toilet pipe.

The baby at OAU is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
